Feilden+Mawson secured the prestigious architectural commission to assist Royal Norwich Golf Club their move to Weston Park, Norwich a similar approach underway at the Basingstoke and Dummer Golf Clubs. 

The RNGC brief included:

• Improved site access;
• 18 hole championship course;
• 9 hole course;
• USGA specification greens;
• 10 bay covered driving range;
• Partial demolition and extension of the existing clubhouse;
• New Greenkeeping facilities;
• Starter’s pavilion.

The golf course designs were carried out by European Golf Design and all buildings were designed by Feilden+Mawson. The main aim of the project was to create a facility reflecting the changes in golf and to play a role in broadening the appeal of the game for future generations to come
