Feilden+Mawson were appointed for the planning, design, and implementation of new awnings and canopies for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Design discussions, precedent analysis, and an understanding of historic embellishments in metalwork informed the emerging frieze design.
We previously developed options for a significant rooftop extension to the hotel. This included obtaining Planning and Listed Building Consent for alterations and expansion of the hotel. This magnificent hotel was designed by Archer and Green in the 1880’s and lies within the Knightsbridge Conservation Area.
