Feilden+Mawson collaborated with Norfolk County Council and Group Lotus to deliver a comprehensive masterplan for a new 70,000m² Technology Park. Located between the existing Engineering Centre and the Lotus production facility, the vision was to establish a vibrant, tech-campus-style environment dedicated to innovation, research, and development.
The masterplan proposed a mix of high-spec R&D workshops, flexible office spaces, and hybrid facilities to support a wide range of technological and engineering functions. Warehousing and storage were kept to a minimum to maintain the focus on high-value activity.
Designed as a strategic inward investment opportunity, the Technology Park is positioned to attract both UK-based and international businesses. Its sector-specific appeal and quality of infrastructure are expected to gain support from the Department for International Trade (DIT) and form part of the wider UK innovation offer. The site also aligns with the ambitions of the Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor, reinforcing its role in the region’s growing tech landscape.
