We are delighted to announce that our Project at the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club in Brancaster, has been awarded Practical completion! The majestic 1920's clubhouse has been refurbished and extended to provide members with luxury modern comforts, and we couldn't be more proud of the final result.

Some of our staff attended a brilliant evening celebrating the website launch of the Cambridge Architects Association at Crispp Court in Cambridge last night. We are proud to be members of the CAA and it was great to see everyone at the annual reception!

Feilden+Mawson is proud to have worked on many projects + have a strong footing within the education sector! One of these successful projects, St Joseph’s Primary School, created a new 420 pupil primary on the existing school site, for client Kier Construction.

We look forward to seeing everyone at tonight’s sold-out FANN23 Norwich Castle site visit with Erin Davidson and Conisbee! This talk and hard hat tour will offer a fascinating glimpse into the revitalisation of the Castle, and how this will connect the city’s rich Medieval past with its future. *This event was delayed and is currently being rescheduled for November 2023, with further details to follow.

In exciting news, our planning application for Old Sarum Airfield has been submitted to Wiltshire Council.

The plans will create a sustainable long-term plan to safeguard the heritage and flying activities at the airfield. Click here to read more. 

Amongst the many exciting events throughout FANN23, the sold-out talk and tour led by F+M Partner Erin Davidson will be a fascinating exploration into the exciting vision for the redevelopment of Norwich Castle. Joined by Conisbee, attendees can expect to receive insight into the innovative architectural approaches and engineering challenges faced and overcome during the revitalisation of this Medieval Castle.

Great news! Broadland District Council have approved our planning application for 25 dwellings in Taursham Park, Taverham. Following the near completion of the initial phase, this extension to the development will deliver private and affordable housing, new pedestrian and vehicle access, and play space.

We were delighted to attend the RIBA Norfolk FANN23 Reception yesterday evening, hosted at The Forum in Norwich and sponsored by RIBA East and Taylor Maxwell Co. It was a marvellous opening to the exhibition, and we are looking forward to the wide range of exciting events coming up throughout the festival!

On World Mental Health Day, Feilden+Mawson recognises the importance of maintaining a healthy mental state, especially within the workplace. We had an excellent time at the Norwich Forum for the Construction Industry Lego Competition yesterday! It was an excellent opportunity to witness the creativity of other attendees, and stretch our team’s innovative minds to fulfil the Iconic Norfolk theme.

We were delighted to attend the Pentaco Construction Charity Golf Day yesterday, in support of the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity. It was a marvellous day with Rob Scholes of Rossi Long and Bawden Burrows of Johns Slater and Haward, with plenty of laughs had by all. 

Happy Work Anniversary to Sally, a Partner based in our London Office! Sally has been with us for four years and has been an integral part of our success since joining. Thank you for all your hard work!

The F+M team and our guests had a terrific evening at the Lovell Charity Ball on Friday. It was a wonderful event supporting the Priscilla Bacon Hospice and the Big C charities, joined by our lovely guests Emily Larter, John East and their partners.

Having led the way in award winning designs and championed good designs within Feilden+Mawson, Philip Bodie is retiring from the Partnership.

From where we started to where we are now! Royal West Norfolk Golf Club was founded in 1892, and the spirit of this Victorian clubhouse has been respected in the renovation, whilst preparing it for the future. It is exciting to see what this new chapter holds for the club!
